Immigration Planning for All of Ontario

The OINP now runs a single stream, the Ontario Workforce Priority stream, so most provincial nominations start with a full-time, permanent job offer and an Expression of Interest. Our RCIC-licensed team compares that route with Express Entry, work permits, employer LMIAs, and family sponsorship, then prepares the file that fits you. Ontario has also launched a new Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) round, running to the end of 2027, for Greater Sudbury, Kenora, Nipissing, Rainy River, Renfrew and Thunder Bay.

We had an excellent experience working with Immigration Pros throughout our outland spousal application and visitor visa application. My husband and I from the beginning of inquiries to the completion of our case, the team demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and genuine dedication. We would like to give special recognition to Luisa Canals, who handled our application from start to finish with exceptional care and expertise. She was always patient, knowledgeable, and clear in her communication ,guiding us through smooth every step of the process and making a complex journey much easier to manage. What impressed me the most was their constant support and follow-up at every step of the process. They were always available to answer my questions, explain the next stages, and ensure all documents were accurate and submitted on time. We are truly grateful and blessed that our two application which was expected to take a month of visitor visa was received early. The spousal expected to take 10 months was approved by IRCC in just 6 months. We truly believe that this success came through Our prayers and trust ,combined with the perseverance ,proactive ,dedication and attention to detail of the Immigration Pros Team. This early approval was a huge relief and meant so much to us. We could not have achieved this outcome without them so much appreciated. I have used Immigration Pros twice in the past 12 years for two different purposes. Each time I paid a flat fee and was never asked for a penny more. Juan was completely professional and polite even when I was stressed and he, Galo and the team were able to get the job done both times when I know that otherwise I would have given up due to the confusing, ambiguous language of IRCC. Both times the IP team knew exactly what to do and how to interpret communications from IRCC. Each communication from me was handled promptly and with professionalism. I would highly recommend them.

ImmigrationPros have been instrumental in reuniting my husband and I. My husband is South African and I am Canadian. We tried to put together our own permits to have him come to visit me in Canada, only to get denied. The forms and information you need are all so much to fill out and overwhelming. So when my husband decided to immigrate to Canada, we knew we either needed to get help with the applications for the spousal sponsorship permit along with a visitors visa, or he wouldn’t be coming here. Especially since the spousal visa was so complicated to fill out and if we make one mistake, more money is wasted. We dealt directly with John Hillen and Luisa Canals, for three different permits, which were reasonably priced for the amount if work they do, and I have never felt the saying “money well spent” has been more appropriate than with this company. Their thoroughness even made it so our permits got approved way faster than we anticipated. My husband and I wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the outstanding service ImmigrationPros have provided in assisting us with our visas. Their meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness have been nothing short of exceptional. Without their expertise and dedication, We wouldn't be together today. Your company's invaluable assistance has made our dreams a reality, and for that, we are truly grateful. Please convey our sincerest thanks to your entire team for their hard work and professionalism. The services you provide are truly priceless (almost hahaha), and we cannot thank you enough for the role you've played in bringing us together.

Immigration Pros has taken so well care of me from the beginning! When I was trying to become a Permanent Resident they took care of it all and lead me through the whole process step by step. They were always available to answer all my questions and concerns. I married a Canadian and moved to Canada on a work visa. We lived happily for many years and had 3 children together. So it was time to lay down some roots. Immigration Pros was the right choice they walked me through every little detail. They even stayed with me to walk me through the citizenship process as well! I never thought I would see the day that I would be able to join my wife and kids as a Canadian Citizen!! Thanks to Immigration Pros I am now an official Canadian Citizen! My family has never been happier! The ceremony was an amazing unforgettable experience. Working with this company was the best choice I’ve made! It was well worth the money! They follow you through the whole process, every step. And they were always there to remind me and let me know of anything I needed to do. They give concrete information and advice. They are very professional and a great team of people to work with. No matter who was working on my case they would have all the information necessary and were able to keep up with me. Especial thanks to Luisa Canals!! I’ll never forget you and your hard work!! My family and I are forever grateful!! 🙏🏼😊

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program streams are open in 2026?

Only the Ontario Workforce Priority stream. The OINP launched it in 2026, closed the eight earlier streams (including Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, Master's Graduate, and Express Entry French-speaking Skilled Worker), and opened its Expression of Interest portal on August 4, 2026. An EOI is not an application: you can apply only if the OINP invites you.

What does the Ontario Workforce Priority stream require?

There are two job-offer pathways. TEER 0 to 3 needs a full-time, permanent job offer, CLB 6 (CLB 5 for certain occupations), and a post-secondary degree or diploma. TEER 4 and 5 needs a full-time, permanent offer, 9 months of cumulative experience in the last 2 years with the offering employer, CLB 4, and a Canadian secondary diploma or equivalent. Self-employed physicians can apply without a job offer.

Does my Ontario company need an LMIA to hire a foreign worker?

Usually yes, unless the position is exempt. ESDC compares the wage you offer with Ontario's median hourly wage of $36.92 to separate the high-wage and low-wage streams, and the LMIA fee is $1,000 CAD per position. Processing is currently 98 business days for high-wage and 82 business days for low-wage files, according to ESDC's September 2026 update. Ontario had 21,243 positive LMIAs in 2025, compared with 28,033 in 2024.

Can an Ontario nomination go through Express Entry?

For part of it, yes. Applicants in the TEER 0 to 3 pathway and self-employed physicians can be nominated through the IRCC Express Entry system if they are invited and approved. Francophone candidates can also look at Express Entry's French-language proficiency category, which requires CLB 7 in all four French abilities, because Ontario's French-speaking Skilled Worker stream is closed.

How does the job market differ across Ontario's regions?

Job Bank's August 2026 snapshot shows unemployment ranging from 4.0% in Stratford–Bruce Peninsula to 8.7% in Windsor–Sarnia, against 6.9% for Ontario as a whole (regional rates are not seasonally adjusted). Toronto is at 7.5%, Ottawa at 8.2%, London at 8.3%, Hamilton–Niagara at 6.8%, and the Northeast at 6.7%. We match your plan to the region of the job offer.

What is the first step if I am applying from outside Ontario?

Book the free assessment. We compare the Ontario Workforce Priority stream, Express Entry, and employer-driven options against your job offer, language results, and credentials, then list the documents you need and the order to file them.
